Type 12 Class Frigate HMS Yarmouth F101 Royal Navy Ship Art Print by Artist Neil Foggo

HMS Yarmouth was the first of the modified Type 12 Frigates to enter service with the Royal Navy, commissioning in March 1960.

Damaged in the Cod Wars after being rammed by the gunboat Baldur, the ship would see considerable action in the Falklands War of April-June 1982. She would be involved in the only encounter between armed ships when, in company with HMS Brilliant, she shelled the Argentine coaster ARA Monsunen. In the last action of the conflict, and in company with HMS Endurance, she was involved in the recapture of the South Sandwich Islands.

We are very pleased to offer both prints and the original painting of Neil Foggo's superb portrayal of the ship leaving Ascension Island. The original can be found in our originals section.
