Michael Schumacher Benetton Original Oil Painting by Stuart Booth

Michael Schumacher 1992 Belgian Grand Prix

The race started dry, but rain meant a change to wet weather tyres. The image shows Michael Scumacher's Benetton B192, ahead of Mansell in a Williams FW14B, after changing to 'wets'. For much of the race Schumacher was in third ahead of Brundle in the other Benetton, until Michael went wide as the track dried and on rejoining he spotted his team mate's tyres had blistered, prompting a stop for dry tyres. Mansell in front stayed out for several more laps before changing tyres, allowing Michael into the lead, which he held to the end for his first Grand Prix victory.

This is the original oil on canvas painting from which our prints and card are taken.

The painting measures 22" x 16" (Approx 56cm  x 40.5cm). This piece is supplied unframed for your own choice of frame.
