DHC Dash-8 Flybe Airliner Art Print by Darryl Legg

Turboprop Success - The De Havilland Canada Dash 8

Originally flying in 1984, the Dash 8 has gone on to become a very successful aircraft with over 1200 produced. Offered in a myriad of different variants in its many years of manufacture, the aircraft remains in service with a large number of operators around the world. The adesign has also undergone a number of ownership changes as DHC was to be bought by Boeing in 1986, then sold to Bombardier in 1992 and , most recently, to Longview Aviation, who revived the DHC Dash 8 name

Darryl's Art Print shows one of Flybe's DHC Dash 8 Q-400 in a gradual climb over Jersey Island on route to its destination.
