Luftwaffe DVD on the German Bombers of WWII
At the outbreak of WWII, German forces were recognised as the best equipped and most efficient in the world. The successes of 1939 and early 1940 disguised a severe weakness however in the Luftwaffe. This deficiency was a lack of a strategic bomber.
Throughout the war, Germany relied upon a number of medium bombers and by the time this deficiency had been exposed it was mercifully too late to fix. The lack of an effective large bomber can be seen as a contributing cause for Germany's defeat in WWII.
This DVD looks at how the doctrine and aircraft evolved. It has a running time of 48 Minutes and is Region Free, meaning it is compatible with all PAL players.
