Professionally Built model of the Macchi MC.202 (Hasegawa 1/48)

Developed from the somewhat lacklustre MC.200, the MC.202 used much of the airframe from the older aircraft and mated it with a licence built Daimler Benz DB-601 engine. The aircraft proved highly successful and entered service in the middle of 1941, continuing in service with the Italian Air Force until the mid-1950s.
