Professionally Built model of the Gotha G.V (Hippo 1/48)

A giant aircraft by WWI standards, the Gotha bombers were, and still are, amazing to look at. These large aircraft were engineering marvels for their time, though they were exceedingly vulnerable to fighter attack.

As one of the largest 1/48 scale aircraft we have been commissioned to produce, this kit, now marketed by AZ Models, was specially adapted to make it stronger for the client by manufacturing new struts from brass sheet to replace the plastic ones in the kit. With many hours of work, a similar kit would cost £220.00 to produce, plus the cost of the kit.
