Entering service in 1923, the Great Western’s “Castle” class have become one of Britain’s most loved locomotives. They are also in the very small category of locomotives that were still built after nationalisation in 1948. One of the locomotives to be built in GWR days was 5031 Totnes Castle, which is seen here pulling a night express past Dawlish
