The invasion of France in June 1944 required the co-operation of all services and nationalities within the Allied cause. The south of England became a huge training camp and while in a great many areas the public were forbidden, it was not unknown for whole units to move through a single village.
Here we see the ubiquitous Jeep, Dodge weapons carrier, Sherman tanks and Spitfires, along with British Paratroops and American GI's.
Kevin Walsh does justice in our Blank card which would be ideal for anyone who has served on tanks or is a vehicle restorer or model maker / enthusiast.
