Jaguar XK120 Classic British Car Cricket Blank Birthday Card by Kevin Walsh
In this painting we are taken back to about the early 1950s when a Sunday cricket match and the afternoon tea were very much the order of the day. This quintessential British village with thatched housing and small church is representative of the country ideal at the time. A sign of the times ahead is given by the Jaguar XK120. While by no means available to all, the XK series were fast and reliable, proving concepts that would allow other designers to produce cheaper, family cars in the late 50s and early 60s.
