Inter-City 125 HST British Rail Christmas Card by Lee Lacey GAvA

In 1976, B.R brought into service the first of the Class 253 High Speed Trains, known since then as the Inter-City 125. Nearly fifty years later they are only now heading into retirement, with the last British sets leaving service in December 2025. Interestingly, some have been purchased for use in Mexico, so their story hasn't finished quite yet. With their distinctive, timeless styling, they remain one of the most popular trains to ever run on Britain's railways and we are sure our Christmas Card will bring joy to any fan of these iconic trains. Lee Lacey GAvA shows an early example in the British Rail Blue and Yellow livery carried between 1976 and 1982.
