The stalwart of many regional routes in the USA since their introduction, the MD-80 served the airlines of the world for over forty years. The MD-88, shown here, was introduced in 1986 and is seen in the livery of Delta Airlines, whom retired the type and its sister MD-90 aircraft on 2nd June 2022.
