Guiness Albion Delivery Lorry by Transport Artist Mike Jefferies
In this Merry Christmas card we see an Albion HD57L eight-wheel tanker in service with the Guinness brewery. These large lorries were seen regularly on Britain's roads from the 1950s until the mid 1970s, some even later. They were powered by the 10 litre Albion diesel. and owing to the quiet nature of this engine nicknamed the 'Whispering Giants'.
Our Christmas card would be ideal for any Guinness or truck enthusiast or lorry driver
