Patricia Forrest - Lossiemouth Buccaneer
Blackburn Buccaneer aviation aeroplane aircraft birthday card
The area-ruled Blackburn Buccaneer was a leap forward for the strike capability of the Royal Navy when it entered service in the 1960s. Due to the failure of both the TSR.2 and purchase of the F-111, Buccaneers were put into service by the RAF who often put it through its paces in the Scottish Lochs.
This aviation themed birthday card by Patricia Forrest shows an aircraft in the wrap-around camouflage of the 1980s preparing to go 'down and dirty'
