Sebastian Vettel Original Oil Painting by Stuart Booth

In 2008 Sebastian Vettel became the youngest ever driver to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix; the victory in the rain at Monza coming at the wheel of a Toro Rosso, not only the team’s first, and to date, only win, but its first and only podium finish.  The following year he moved to Red Bull and scored that team’s first Grand Prix victory.  In 2010 Vettel became the youngest ever Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion.  In this motor racing artwork he is seen winning the penultimate race in Brazil and one week later he would win again at Abu Dhabi to claim the Championship ahead of Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber.

Red Bull can trace it’s origins back to Jackie Stewart’s Stewart Grand Prix team which was later sold to Ford and branded as Jaguar Racing; after five unsuccessful seasons the team was sold again to become Red Bull Racing and immediately results improved.   A major contributing factor was the recruitment, from McLaren, of Adrian Newey, acknowledged as the greatest motor racing designer of the modern era. The Red Bull cars, particularly in the hands of Sebastian Vettel have proved the class of the field, winning the F1 Constructors’ Championship from 2010 to 2013.
