London Transport Tram of the 1930s & 1940s Blank Birthday Greeting Card by Transport Artist Robin Pinnock
Though trams made their last appearance in London in the late 1940s, their legacy lives on. London Transport operated a large fleet of vehicles, the most notable being the famous 'Bone Shaker'.
In Robin Pinnock's transport painting we are taken back to the 1930s with a scene in the London docklands era. In the background a Blue Funnel transport ship can be seen, as can East End favourites of Pie & Mash & Jellied Eels.
