Edwardian London Bus Blank Birthday Greetings by Robin Pinnock
It is quite amazing to think of how old much of London actually is, and this scene from around 1910 evokes the nostalgia of the era. The bus is a General Omnibus Company ‘B’ Type, one of the first effective motorbuses anywhere in the world. It can be seen crossing Westminster Bridge with the vast array of different traffic and people that typifies the era.
