Roger H. Middlebrook - The Moth, The Girl & The Talbot - Tiger Moth (W)
De Havilland Tiger Moth & Talbot 105 Car Aviation Painting Art Blank Card by Aircraft Artist Roger H. Middlebrook GAvA
Capturing the essence of the "Flying Club" of the Post-War era beautifully, this painting features a car that has survived to this day and is currently under-going restoration for its Swedish owner.
The car is a Talbot 105, a powerful sports tourer built from 1931-35 and which won considerable accolades on the British racing track at Brooklands. Talbot cars are also quite distinctive due to their vibrant green colour.
Synonymous with British Flying clubs, the De Havilland Tiger Moth has become a legend with a large number flying to this day.
