Concorde Aviation Painting Birthday Card by Aviation Artist Stephen Brown.
So much has been written about the superb Concorde that it is difficult to add anything here. The joint Anglo-French concept first took to the air in 1969 and after several years of further development entered service in 1976.
Following political upheaval and the revoking of its type certificate by Airbus, the aircraft was gradually phased out of service by British Airways and Air France with the last flight of a BA aircraft on 26th November 2003
Stephen Brown’s birthday card shows this momentous last landing when the curtain came down on supersonic passenger flights over the Atlantic, probably for good.
