HMS Edinburgh D97 Royal Navy Warship Original Painting by Marine Artist John Stewart
The last of the distinctive Type 42 Destroyers to serve with the Royal Navy, HMS Edinburgh was also the largest. Nicknamed "Fortress of the Sea", due to the ships badge, she was commissioned in 1985.
This is the original Gouache painting from which our prints are taken. It comes framed, mounted and ready to hang. It measures 28" x 21" (71cm x 54cm)
In this Warship Art Painting by John Stewart she is seen off the Falkland Islands during her service in the South Atlantic during the late 1990s
