North American FJ-4 Fury Limited Edition Aviation Art Print by Aviation Artist Darryl Legg
Sharing
much in common with both the F-86 and the earlier FJ-3, the FJ-4 would be the
last in a family of fighters dating back to design work done immediately after
WWII.
Intended
as an All-weather interceptor, the FJ-4 incorporated a re-designed, deepened
fuselage with 50% more fuel capacity than the FJ-3 as well as modified, more
comfortable cockpit for the pilot.
Ordered
by both the US Navy and US Marine Corps, the aircraft entered service in 1955
with the last not being replaced in reserve units until the late 1960s.
Our LIMITED EDITION ART PRINT of only 50 COPIES has an image size of 14" x 10.25.
