Steam Train Blank Birthday Fathers Day Card by Railway Artist Philip D. Hawkins FGRA
Painted from the artists' own recollections of trainspotting at New Street, this wonderful painting shows the atmosphere so associated with the Railway Locomotives of yesteryear. The locomotive in question is a Patriot class 4-6-0. These engines were re-worked versions of the earlier Claughton class and mated the running gear of the earlier loco with the boiler of the then new Royal Scots.
