Douglas A-4 Skyhawk Limited Edition Aviation Art Print by Aviation Artist Darryl Legg
Known as 'Scooters', "Bantam Bombers" or
'Heineman's Hot Rod' among other nicknames, the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk has become
one of the most successful attack aircraft of the post-war period, having
served in the Vietnam, Yom-Kippur and Falklands conflicts.
Designed in the early-1950s, the Skyhawk surpassed all the specifications required of it by some margin and entered service in 1956. By the time production stopped in 1979 over 2000 had been built in a number of variants.
Our LIMITED EDITION ART PRINT of only 50 COPIES has an image size of 14" x 9.25.
