Bedford CA Dormobile Debonair and VW Camper Blank Birthday Card by Trevor Mitchell
Two of the best known camper vans of the 1960s and 1970s are shown together in this painting by Trevor Mitchell. The VW Camper is undoubtedly the most successful of its type ever and continues to have a huge following to this day. The Bedford CA Debonair/ Dormobile became one of a number of British attempts to copy this success and even went as far as having a fibre-glass body.
