Lockheed Constellation - BOAC Airliner Painting Art Print by Aviation Artist Roger Murray
Entering service with BOAC in April 1946, Lockheed’s Constellation was a prized asset the world over. The best of the new post-war piston engined airliners it saw service with the line initially on the U.S and Canadian routes. From 1949 the ‘Connie’ would be synonymous with the routes to Australia. The aircraft shown is a standard model L-049 Constellation.
