De Havilland Tiger Moth at the Goodwood Revival Art Print by Aviation Artist Richard Wheatland
A De Havilland Tiger Moth painting with a difference, concentrating on the 'Office' of this superb aircraft. This particular aircraft was part of the "Spirit of Freddie March" concours d' elegance competition at the 2011 Goodwood Revival event near Chichester, West Sussex. The artist lives a short drive away from the Goodwood venue and it has proven an invaluable source of inspiration and reference material for a great many of his aviation and motorsport paintings.
With this painting it was the artist's intentions to capture the anticipation of climbing into a vintage aircraft for a flight. It is a firm favourite with the artist.
