Railway Steam Train Birthday Card - Britannia Class 70014 Iron Duke at Stewarts Lane Depot
Usually associated with the Bulleid Pacifics, the BR Standard Class 7, known as the "Britannias" to all railwaymen, were a rare sight on the Southern Region. Three of the class, 70004 William Shakespeare, 70009 Alfred the Great and 70014 Iron Duke, were to be found on the region at varying stages of their lives and were all to be used on the region's premier train, the "Golden Arrow".
