Robert Lloyd Marine Painting Cruise Ship Picture of the P&O Cruise Ship Victoria
The Victoria had a long and distinguished career, first being built for Swedish America Line and entering service as the Kungsholm in 1966. A relatively short career with SAL was to see her sold to Flagship Cruises in 1976 and again to P&O in 1979. Now renamed as the Sea Princess, she was to see her home port changed to Sydney for the next three years before returning to European waters in 1982 when replaced by the larger Oriana. From 1986 she was part of the Princess fleet in the pacific and returned to the UK in 1991 for a re-fit and in 1995 a change of name again to Victoria. By 2010 and not meeting current regulations she was converted into a floating hotel.
