Svenskt Flygkonst Utskrifter - Douglas DC3
Affectionately known as Daisy in Sweden, the official name being Fridtjof Viking. She began her career with the US army airforce in WW2. She came to Sweden, via Norway in 1957 working as an airliner with Linjeflyg until being sold to the SAF in 1960. After 24 years military service she was retired and in 1984 she was bought by the Flying Veterans group and restored as an SAS airliner.
Since then she has had a full programme, attending and displaying at air shows and other aviation events. I don’t think she has been to Flying Legends as yet, but one can live in hope.
