In the early 1950s a BEA Douglas Dakota goes about its business. For an aircraft originally designed in the mid-30s the Dakota has had an extraordinarily long and successful career, numerous still earning a living to this day.
Exhibited at the 2014 Guild of Aviation Artists Summer Exhbition, the original was awarded the Wilkinson Sword Poignard for best work in Oil at the exhibition.
