Flying from RAF Kinloss, the Hawker-Siddeley Nimrod provided Britain's
maritime reconnaissance for forty years.
This aircraft, XV254 was scrapped in 2010 but the forward fuselage are
preserved at the Highland Aviation Museum in Inverness.
