Dan-Air AS57 Ambassador departs from the central pier at Gatwick Airport just
as the fog starts to close in. This particular aircraft was operated by Dan-Air
from 1963 to 1971. G-ALZO is the only surviving example of the type and resides
at IWM Duxford after a lengthy restoration
The original oil painting on stretched canvas is available for sale. It comes framed, varnished and ready to hang and measures 26" x 17" (66cm x 43cm).
