Boeing Chinook 18 Squadron Helicopter RAF Aviation Art Print by Artist Lee Lacey AGAvA.
Mainstay of the support helicopter squadrons of the RAF, the Chinook entered service with 18 Squadron in 1981. The helicopter Bravo November (BN) of 18 Squadron became well known during the Falklands Conflict of 1982 as the sole survivor of four aircraft despatched on the cargo vessel Atlantic Conveyor, Bravo November being indispensable during the conflict and for some time after.
In this Aviation Art Print by Lee Lacey AGAvA, two 18 Squadron aircraft are seen during the BAOR "Key Point" exercise of 1989. The squadron still operates Chinooks and is currently based at RAF Odiham
This print is available in two sizes, each limited to 100 copies each and are signed and numbered by the artist.
