Last Man Home - Panavia Tornado
Panavia Tornado Gulf War I 1990 RAF Iraq Aviation Aircraft Art Painting Print by Aviation Artist Paul Couper
With British involvement in the First Gulf War of 1990-91, the Panavia Tornado became an instrumental weapon for the denial of airfields to the enemy. Often working in conjunction with the Blackburn Buccaneer, Tornadoes were one of the most effective weapons used.
Here two aircraft fly over a ruined Iraqi airfield on their way home after a mission.
