North Sea Patrol - Felixstowe F.2A

£24.00

Until 1950 the flying boat was an indispensable part of many air forces. The first truly successful design used by the RFC and later the RAF was the Felixstowe. Built in a number of different variants based on an original Curtiss design, the aircraft were to see much service spotting for the Grand Fleet. The ships in the background come from Admiral Beatty’s Battlecruiser squadron and include HMS Tiger.
