De Havilland Venom 145 Squadron Aviation Art Print Painting by Artist Stephen Chard GAvA

Despite looking essentially like a larger version of the company's earlier Vampire, the Venom shared very little in common with its predecessor. Designed from the outset as a fighter-bomber, the Venom would give sterling service both at home and over-seas before being replaced by the Hawker Hunter in 1962.

Stephen Chard's Aviation Art Print shows De Havilland Venom FB.1 of 145 Squadron which flew the type from 1954 to 1957.
