Venom Vic Break
De Havilland Venom 145 Squadron Aviation Art Print Painting by Artist Stephen Chard GAvA
Despite looking essentially like a larger version of the company's earlier Vampire, the Venom shared very little in common with its predecessor. Designed from the outset as a fighter-bomber, the Venom would give sterling service both at home and over-seas before being replaced by the Hawker Hunter in 1962.
Chard's Aviation Art Print shows De Havilland Venom FB.1 of 145 Squadron which
flew the type from 1954 to 1957.
