HMS Fearless (L10) heads South in April 1982 as
part of the UK Task Force sent to liberate the Falkland Islands. She is
depicted in company with Type 21 Frigate HMS Alacrity (F174) and RFA Sir
Geraint (L3027) as part of the Amphibious Landing Group.
HMS Fearless had been commissioned on 25th November 1965 and would go on to be one of the longest serving ships of the 20th century, not being decommissioned until March 2002.
