Gloster Javelin and Avro Vulcan Aviation Art Print - 60 Squadron, RAF Tengah, 1967 by Artist Paul Couper AGAvA
While large by fighter standards, the Gloster Javelin was dwarfed by the Avro Vulcan and both are seen while stationed at RAF Tengah, some time in the mid 1960s. These two delta-wing aircraft formed an integral part of Britain's air force in the Far East with 60 and 64 squadron remaining there until disbandment in April1968.
In Paul Couper's Aviation Art Print, the Javelins have come across a training flight of Vulcans and decided to 'bounce' them in the true tradition of the RAF!
