Dan Air De Havilland Comet Aviation Painting Art Print by Aviation Artist Stephen Chard GAvA
Dan-Air operated De Havilland's much improved Comet 4 from 1966 until
1980 becoming the type's largest operator with 49 on strength at one time.
While never as successful as the American airliners from Boeing and
Douglas, the Comet does of course have the status of the world's first jet
airliner to enter service.
